Holidays
No holidays are allowed for bookings of less than 12 weeks.
For courses longer than 12 weeks, 2 weeks' holiday can be taken for each 12 weeks of course booked. Students who book their holiday at the time of enrolment will not pay an administration fee.
Students who arrange their holiday during their course must notify us at least 4 weeks' in advance and pay a ¡Ì95 administration fee. Please note that it may not be possible to place students in the same class or accommodation after a holiday.
Accommodation during holiday periods
It may not be possible for students to remain in their accommodation during the Christmas period. Please contact us for availability and alternative accommodation options.
Students who are away over the Christmas period but wish to retain their homestay accommodation, must pay a retainer fee of ¡Ì30 per week.
During other holiday periods, students must pay the standard weekly rate to retain residential accommodation. To retain homestay accommodation, the standard weekly rate is payable for the first week and 50% of the standard weekly rate is payable for any subsequent weeks.
Travel arrangements
Students should not book flights or make travel arrangements until they have received the booking confirmation documents from Bell.

Students are responsible for any additional taxi waiting time charges if their flight is significantly delayed.
Exam Entrance
Tuition prices do not include exam entrance fees unless otherwise stated.
Examinations are held externally. Places are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. We recommend that students who wish to enter for an exam book the exam before their course starts to avoid disappointment. We can help students do this prior to arrival.
Students must pay for transfers to and from the exam centre, unless otherwise stated.
Students wishing to enter for an exam must bring valid passports for exam entry. National Identity cards may not be accepted in the UK.
Exam boards may require students under the age of 18 to provide a separate consent form completed by their parent or guardian.
Medical and Welfare
Bell must be informed of all relevant medical information at the time of registration. If medical information has not been provided, Bell may be unable to provide the necessary support and the student may be asked to leave the school and/or accommodation with no refund of fees.
For students under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must sign the registration form authorising Bell to act on their behalf in case of medical emergency.
Students under the age of 18
The minimum age for students joining Bell adult courses is 16. Students under the age of 18 are considered children by UK law and we require additional information and consent to be able to accept these students onto our adult courses.
Students aged 16 and 17 can only be enrolled onto our adult courses if we have received a fully completed registration form signed by a parent or guardian.
If a student is not staying in Bell-arranged accommodation, Bell must be given full contact details of where the student is staying. We accept no responsibility for accommodation not booked through us.
We strongly recommend that students aged 16 or 17 book the Bell taxi transfer service. If students choose not to do so, we cannot be held responsible for their safety.
Some airlines do not allow students under the age of 18 to travel without an adult. As airline policies regarding young travellers change frequently, the current guidelines must be checked before flights are booked.
Students aged 16 and 17 who arrange a holiday during their course must submit a Bell absences and holidays approval form, signed by their parent or guardian.
All 16 and 17 year olds will be subject to Bell rules and UK laws regarding age restrictions.
Insurance
Travel insurance is included in the course fees* and a summary of cover will be sent to students with their booking confirmation.
*Please note: This excludes students who hold a UK passport and are residing in the UK.
