ETC 어학원은 2003년 영국문화원(The British Council)의 인증을 받은 후 꾸준하게 성장하여 현재는 본머스를 대표하는 대형 어학원 중 한 곳입니다. 학교 규모가 크기 때문에 코스도 다양하고 레벨도 다양해서 장기 어학연수에도 적합한 어학원입니다.
ETC 어학원의 입지 또한 매력적입니다. 시티센터에 인접해 있으며 학교 주변에 큰 공원이 있고, 해변까지도 도보 10분이면 갈 수 있기에 방과 후 다양한 활동을 하기에 좋습니다.
코스 선택의 폭이 넓은 ETC 어학원
일반영어과정 뿐 아니라 시험준비반과 같은 프로그램이 다양해서 장기 어학연수시 일반영어 과정에서 다른 코스로 변경해서 들을 때 선택의 폭이 넓다는 장점이 있습니다.
현재는 각종 영어시험(LCCI, Pitman Qualifications, Trinity Collge Exam)의 센터로도 활용되고 있으며 Business 코스도 있어서 직장인들에게도 인기가 많습니다.
비용대비 실속적인 28레슨 수업
위 시간표는 ETC 어학원의 주당 레슨별 수업 샘플입니다.
주당 20레슨 코스는 오전에만 수업이 있습니다. 그래서 가볍게 어학연수를 하시는 분들이 선호하는 코스입니다.
주당 24레슨 코스는 오전 수업에 오후 수업 4레슨이 추가됩니다. 월~목 중에서 이틀간 오후에 2레슨씩 일주일에 4레슨이 추가됩니다. 일주일에 2번만 오후 수업을 받는 코스입니다.
주당 28레슨 코스는 오전 수업에 오후 수업 8레슨이 추가됩니다. 월~목 매일 4레슨씩 오후 수업이 있습니다. 그래서 어학연수시 영어실력을 최대한 올리고 싶은 경우에 선호되는 수업입니다.
하지만 주당 28레슨 수업은 학비 부담이 큰 편이라 선듯 선택하기 힘든데, ETC 어학원의 경우 다른 학교의 28레슨 수업과 비교해도 학비대가 낮기 때문에 많은 수업을 원하는 경우 특히 ETC가 인기가 많습니다.
활발한 엑티비티
규모가 큰 어학원의 장점 중 하나는 엑티비티가 활발하다는 것입니다. 참여 인원도 많고, 다른 반 친구들이 많기 때문에 다양한 국적의 친구들을 사귈 수 있습니다.
아무래도 많은 사람들을 만나야 자기와 성향이 맞는 사람이 있을 확률이 높아지기 때문에 친구를 사귀기 좋습니다.

| A credit card authorisation of £250 is required to act as a deposit. If no credit card is available, an alternative will be requested. We require one week of accommodation to be paid at the time of booking. We can only secure accommodation for the period that has been paid in full. ETC Residence rules are in place to help all students to enjoy their stay with us; we ask all residents to respect these rules. Failure to respect the rules may result in the student being asked to leave the residence, with no refund payable. No refunds can be given after the student’s date of arrival. |
