Additional services in South Korea

This page describes the additional services that are available to visa applicants in South Korea.

These services are optional, and are available for an additional fee. If you want to use them, you must pay the fee when you attend your appointment at the visa application centre.

Priority Visa Service

From May 1 2012 we offer a priority visa service if you pay an additional fee at the time you make your visa application. Your application will be processed ahead of other visa applications.

Under normal circumstances, a priority service visa application will be processed within 3-4 working days.

The cost of this service will be 180,000 South Korean Won per applicant (including sales tax).

The following visa application categories are not able to use the priority service:

    General Visit
    Business Visit
    Family Visit
    Child Visitor
    Visitor in Transit
    Direct Airside Transit
    Visitor - Sportsperson
    Visitor - Entertainer
    Visit for Marriage
    EEA Family Permit


If you have had any adverse immigration issues in the past we do not recommend that you use this service. The priority service does not imply or guarantee in any way that applicants using it will be successful in their visa application, and all visa applicants must meet the requirements of the UK immigration rules.

The amount paid for the priority service, as well as the visa application fee, is not refundable if the visa application is refused or in exceptional cases, takes longer than 4 working days to process.
